Hey, what’s up, everybody? We’re going to continue building on the previous videos in the stab series. In this lesson, we’re going to go over quarter notes, eighth notes, eighth rests, and sixteenth notes. You can find a link to the sheet music and anything else mentioned in this video in the description below. If at any point you’re feeling confused, remember to rewatch our earlier videos. Alright, let’s dive into the first rhythm. The tempo is at 85 beats per minute. Here we go!
Rhythm 1

Let’s move on to rhythm number two and reinforce the basics. We’re going to count out loud and make sure we don’t play on the rests. We’re also going to focus on playing at a steady, even tempo. We don’t want to rush or drag the beat. The goal is to be accurate. Let’s count it off!
Rhythm 2

This time around, we’re going to put it all together. We’re going to be accurate. We’re going to play at a steady, even tempo. We’re going to concentrate on our sound and aim to get our strokes as clean and consistent as possible. We also want our stabs to sound identical and keep them evenly spaced apart. Alright, here we go!
Rhythm 3

That’s a wrap for lesson number nine in the stab series. We hope you got a lot out of it! We recommend incorporating these rhythms into your daily practice routine. Our Made Easy Method is structured and progressive, so as long as you practice faithfully and consistently, you’ll keep getting better. Thanks for watching! See you next time. Peace!
